India vs England | Alastair Cook will be hugely missed in dressing room, believes Paul Farbrace

England assistant coach Paul Farbrace has stated that Alastair Cook will be missed in the English dressing room once the former skipper retires from international cricket. The assistant coach also mentioned that the last-wicket partnership during the Indian innings was frustrating for the hosts.

Cook is playing his last Test match at The Oval and the English team will certainly want himĀ toĀ do well in the last game of the series against the Indians. With an experience of 160 Tests, Cook adds a lot to the English team. With Cook scoring an impressive 71 in the first innings, the English coach hopes that Cook can end his final international game with a century.
āItād be fantastic, wouldnāt it, if he was to get to a hundred? Itād be absolutely brilliant. I think heās just enjoying milking all the applause heās getting. I think itās just driving him on to bat as long as he possibly can,ā Farbrace said during the press conference after Day 3.Ā
