Cristiano Ronaldo has left a lasting impact on multiple generations, with his iconic celebration becoming a source of inspiration for many. Among his admirers is Imran Tahir, who once again paid tribute to Ronaldo’s signature ‘Siu’ move during a Caribbean Premier League match at St Lucia.

‌Saint Lucia struggled early in their innings, losing captain Faf du Plessis cheaply. Their troubles deepened as top-order batsmen Johnson Charles, Ackeem Auguste, and Bhanuka Rajapaksa were dismissed in quick succession, leaving the hosts reeling at 43/4. Things went from bad to worse when Imran Tahir was introduced into the attack, and after dismissing Roston Chase, he celebrated with Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic 'Siu' celebration.

On the final ball of the seventh over, Tahir delivered a perfect googly around the middle stump to Chase. The Caribbean all-rounder attempted to defend towards mid-on but was caught off guard when the ball sharply turned inwards, crashing into the stumps. Stunned by the delivery, Chase lingered at the crease in disbelief, trying to process what had just transpired. Meanwhile, a fired-up Tahir sprinted in his usual fashion after taking the wicket, concluding his celebration with a ‘Siu’, a tribute he's done on numerous occasions before.
