After losing six matches in a row, Royal Challengers Bangalore finally won their first match of the IPL and it came against Kings XI Punjab thanks to some brilliant batting by Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers. Legends and pundits, who had felt bad for Virat Kohli, were happy as he finally got a win.
When on song, RCB might be really a tough team to beat!
Finally on the board and it has been a good performance. Virat ABD Stoinis, all big guns doing well. Despite Gayle 99 to keep the chase manageable was a good effort.

A big relief for RCB to get on the points table finally. Statistically it's still possible for them to qualify if they win 7/7. Tough ask but for now they will be pleased that they have got some points on the board
