After Rajasthan Royals lost the wicket of Ajinkya Rahane, Steve Smith and Jos Buttler went into defensive mode and took RR to a decent total of 139. Some Twitterati were very critical of Steve Smith's slow innings whereas some applauded the calm innings in a pitch which is difficult to bat on.

I don't understand the hype Steve Smith gets as a T20 batsman. He has poor numbers in both T20Is and IPL and yet manages to play one-down for RR as an overseas batsman, ahead of some better alternatives!

The real problem for RR!
Steve Smith's laboured innings of 62 * not out of 53 balls ,is not upto T20 standards, and because of he not accelerating, could be the reason RR lose the match .RR needs minimum 155 on this wicket. Stokes also can't score from ball 1. RR miss powerful strikers.
