The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has paid Rs.15.67 crores to the suspended IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as part of its share from the Central Rights Income for the eighth season of the Indian Premier League.

According to the details of payments available on the bcci.tv website, CSK was paid a sum of Rs. 15.67 crores as the third instalment of the payment from the Central Rights Income.

The BCCI also paid state associations of Hyderabad, Bengal, Jharkhand, Kerala and Gujarat Rs 8.43 crores under ‘Additional advance against Amount due to Association’. Under the same purpose, the state association of Tamil Nadu was paid Rs. 6.87 crores.

A payment of Rs. 58.12 lakh was also made by the BCCI to Kookaburra Sports India for white kookaburra balls, which will be used in the 2016 ICC World T20 Championship to be held in India from March 8 to April 3.
